  Who We Are

Mkuza Secondary Schools comprise O-level and A-level. The school was established in 2011 under the sponsorship of East and Coastal Diocese Women, The Centre formed centrally to touch women development in social and economic sphere. The core aim was to enable them acquire necessary skills that would promote their livelihood as individual, family and community at large. The focus was developing and practicing skills in Animal husbandry, gardening, vocational training, catering, home management and family primary health care. .

The major aim of the School is to raise the Women dignity through formal education and helping Girls to appreciate their potential.

School Objectives and Government Policies

The education provided at Mkuza concurs and is in line with the National Education Policies and/or National Education Act, Tanzania Development Vision (Vision 2025), Tanzania is pursuing through translating it in the MKUKUTA (National Economic growth and poverty eradication/alleviation), The Big Results Now and the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) aimed at elevating Tanzania to middle income countries of the world by eradicating poverty, illiteracy and diseases. Eventually, Mkuza moulds competitive citizens who will be able to make a better livelihood and be true patriots of our country and uphold our national culture (responsible and accountable).
